Mountain Biking

There are numerous mountain bike routes possible from Gask house, to suit most tastes and fitness levels. These are mainly on forest and  landrover tracks, with a few quiet single-track and B-roads thrown in. We've highlighted a few below.

We'd recommend at least a hardtail MTB, although some routes would be suitable for hybrids. We have secure bike storage and have a good selection of bike tools with a bike stand available, in case you need to do any running repairs.

There are a number of places in Inverness that hire out bikes and we'd be happy to help advise you where to go, although we would recommend that you book a bike in advance of your stay, especially during the busy periods.

Please note all information below is provided in good faith and, to the best of our knowledge, is accurate and up to date. However, please always take care on all routes, ride safely and within your own limits. Ensure you are familiar with the route in advance and take a map (1:25,000).
