This is a wonderful place to visit if you are interested in wildlife. The park offers several opportunities to get close to wild animals some of which are native to Scotland! The three Snow Leopard cubs which were born in May 2022 can be seen in the wolverine enclosure.

But you must book your tickets in advance.

The availability of animals and tours can vary, so on arrival check the boards for Ranger Talks and animal feeding times.

It is worth taking a picnic as the café has a limited stock.

There are activities for all ages. The Lazer Combat can be outdoor or indoors depending on the weather.

Steam Train

This is a tremendous opportunity to travel on board a steam train. You can even book a light lunch or afternoon tea as part of your journey.

The route starts at Aviemore and ends at Broomhill, where the train 'turns around' for the return journey. The views of the Cairngorms are stunning.

Jacobite Steam Train

Better known as the Hogwarts Express, this route is often described as the greatest railway journey in the world! It's an 84 mile round trip starting at Fort William and ending at Mallaig.
